Description
Raksha - Ovac (FMD Oil Adjuvant vaccine) is a unique Double Emulsion Oil Adju-vant Vaccine and is recommended for prophylactic vaccination against Foot and Mouth Disease in cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats and pigs.
Composition:
Raksha FMD Oil Adjuvant vaccine contains tissue culture virus strains O, A, C and Asia-1 and inactivated with Aziridine compound. Mineral oil is added as an adjuvant.
Administration:
The vaccine vial should be kept cold until used and each vial should be well shaken before contents are withdrawn. Syringes and needles must be sterilized before use. The vaccine should be injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly through an area of clean, dry skin with precautions taken against contamination.
